Place

 

Dainai park – placed in the southern part of Šiauliai surrounded by Gardino, Architektų, Jablonskio and Dainų streets. Park covers an area of 65 hectares. BMX track, Šiauliai basketball hall, tennis courts are placed in park territory. Address: J. Jablonskio g. 16, Šiauliai. Vieta žemėlapyje

Salduvės park – it is largest green array which can be found in the city of Šiauliai. It covers about 100 hectares  of area. Park is famous for Salduvės mound and Talkšos ecological trail.  Address: Pavasario g. 1, Šiauliai. Vieta žemėlapyje

2014. 05. 30  Saturday Sprint event
11:30-12:30 – Arrival and registration at the center of the event
13:00 – Start of the sprint event
15:30 – Competition award ceremony

2014. 05. 31  Sunday Middle event
9:30-10:30 – Arrival and registration at the center of the event
11:00 – Start of the middle event
14:00 – Competition award ceremony

Maps graduations are based on 2010 accepted MTBO standards.

Terrain

Dainai park- large and fast network of people walk paths, lots of open spaces. BMX track and residential district can be found in the map.

Salduvė park – careers and mound has a great network of  tracks , there are plenty of open lanes and paved paths. Also there is „Elnias” factory urbanized area.

Red group

Rules for red and orange group creation in MTBO 2015 championship for M21

Red group

M21 red group consists of 8 participants who were best in the same type of distance in 2014 and 2 more will take place in red group by having best current year MTBO Cup rating. 8 places are under 2014 results are „nominal”. If athlete from this top 8 does not participate in the event, other athlete can not take its place. Red group is decreased.

8 „nominal” places for sprint event are reserved for: Jonas Maišelis, Regimantas Kavaliauskas, Margus Hallik, Donatas Mickus, Zaliauskas Tautvydas, Julius Juodišius, Petras Andrašiūnas, Vitalijus Petrulis.

8 „nominal” places for middle event are reserved for: Jonas Maišelis, Petras Andrašiūnas, Regimantas Kavaliauskas, Margus Hallik, Audrius Platakis, Šarūnas Dmukauskas, Aidas Žigiliejus, Julius Juodišius.

Orange group

M21 orange group consistts of 8 athletes: 4 of having best 2015 MTBO rating, 4 of having best IOF rating. Number of participants in all age groups and distances is not restricted.

*If participant lose rented SI card he has to pay its price to organizers. For registered but not participated in the event competitor charge is 50% of the entry fee which has to be payed by team lead or person who did registration.

15 participants will compete with a GPS trackers in the event.

Additional regulations *

Participants must wear hard top helmets ( gloves are recommended).
SI cards are not required to be mounted on the bike.
All course must be completed with a bike.
Riding through forest is allowed.
Riding on right side of road and passing with left shoulders.
Participants are responsible for their own health and safety. For children responsibility goes to their coaches.
